What is a Mind-Body Syndrome?

Mind-body syndrome refers to real, physical pain and symptoms that are driven by the nervous system rather than ongoing tissue damage. These symptoms are often shaped by stress, fear, emotional load, and learned pain patterns.

What is Fibromyalgia

How do you know if you or a loved one has it?

Fibromyalgia is a complex mind-body condition marked by widespread pain, profound fatigue, and a range of symptoms that can disrupt everyday life. At its core, it reflects a dysregulation in the brain and nervous system, causing heightened sensitivity and persistent discomfort.

Today, leading evidence makes it clear: fibromyalgia is no longer a life sentence. With science-backed mind-body interventions, many people experience profound improvement and even full recovery.

Common symptoms include:
Widespread Pain: Pain can vary in intensity and is often described as burning, gnawing, or throbbing.
Fatigue: Many individuals experience severe tiredness that does not improve with rest.
Sleep Disturbances: Insomnia or non-restorative sleep is common.
Cognitive Issues: Often referred to as “fibro fog,” this includes difficulties with memory and concentration.
